ADO Den Haag resists Feyenoord, causing them problems in the 11th round of matches of the Eredivisie League
Game eleven in the Eredivisie League saw ADO Den Haag stop Feyernoord with a 2-2 draw.
Following Feyernoord’s early goal, ADO drew level in the 44th minute, and it was pure entertainment. The move, consisting of total one-touch football, was finished off by Meijers hitting a left foot volley into the top corner of the goal. ADO scored again in the 55th minute with a header from Kanon to put the team in the lead at 2-1. The pressure from the visitors was only rewarded when their captain, El Ahmadi, battled his way into the penalty area to slot the ball past Zwinkels.
Feyenoord continue to chase a win that has eluded them since 1 October. The reigning Dutch champions rank sixth and increasingly lose touch with the top of the table, whereas ADO Den Haag, sporting their Erreà kit, has climbed to eleventh place with 14 points.
